THE TRACTOR HAS PLENTY OF POWER FOR MOWING, BLADE WORK, BRUSH HOGGING AND REAR TILLER WORK. IT IS HEAVY ENOUGH MAKE THE HORSEPOWER USEFUL BUT NOT SO HEAVY THAT IT MAKES BAD TRACKS WHEN MOWING THE LAWN. I LOOKED AT JUST ABOUT EVERY TRACTOR. THE JOHN DEERE WAS MORE MONEY BUT TO ME, SO FAR, IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA. THAT IS IF YOU ARE A QUALITY SHOPPER NOT JUST A PRICE SHOPPER. ....

That's interesting to know. I have a friend that bought a 4310 and said that it was more bang for the buck than any other tractor.. He compared it to the 4210 and 4410 also. ....

I THINK IN GENERAL THE NEW 4-10 SERIES IS MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK. I MOW ABOUT 3 ACRES AS YARD AT MY HOUSE AND ANOTHER 2 ACRES AT ANOTHER LOCATION SO WEIGHT AND SIZE WERE A CONCERN FOR ME, LOADING AND UNLOADING EVERY WEEK. I ALSO BRUSH HOG ANOTHER 10 ACRES AND TRY TO KEEP THE STONE ON MY DRIVEWAY THAT IS SLIGHTLY STEEP.
THE ONLY THING I HAVE FOUND SO FAR IS WITH A BELLY MOWER THE DECK DOESN'T RAISE VERY FAR BECAUSE IT WILL HIT THE STEP ON THE LEFT SIDE, BUT I REMOVED THE STEP AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. ....
